⚡️ EVM Staking Portal Update Findora’s most recent upgrade is a major step that allows users to stake EVM FRA using their MetaMask wallet. However, it has also triggered some display issues with the Findora wallet, which the team is in the process of fixing. The Discreet Labs team has isolated the source of these problems to performance issues on a full node. HTTP and API requests are attempting to acquire a lock on the database simultaneously, slowing or preventing access and causing the display issues. Resolving this problem is Discreet Labs’ top priority, but it has pushed out the launch of the new EVM Staking portal. Before the portal is ready for use, additional testing is needed, and we will provide a revised launch timeline in the coming days. We're grateful for your patience during this major upgrade and are excited to soon bring the EVM Staking portal to the community! 🙏

The EVM #Staking code is estimated to go live in ~4 days! What changes when it does? 1️⃣ A few days after the #EVM Staking code is live, we will release a brand new staking portal making it easy for delegators to manage their stake. 2️⃣ Users will be able to use @MetaMask to stake EVM FRA! Delegators won’t be limited to UTXO FRA, increasing the FRA staked. 3️⃣ We'll be implementing a new quarantine mechanism for validators allowing the network to maintain a consistent blocktime. Additionally, #GameFi is a great first step to #DeFi — cultivating gaming prepares Findora to support more DeFi #dApps in the future. Second, on-chain gaming needs #zk. Games are no fun if there’s no unpredictability or surprise — what’s the point of UNO if everyone’s hands are open? Whether it’s an RTS, card game, or even a casual game, they need to be played on a selectively transparent ledger. Zero-knowledge cryptography can create this kind of ledger. Instead of being fully transparent, zk enables selectively transparent ledgers that preserve unpredictability, even on-chain. It’s a necessary paradigm shift for Web3. #Web3Gaming needs zk because every game needs to reveal information ONLY at the right time. By using crypto gaming as an example, Findora showcases the potential that zk holds for the rest of #Web3. It proves the utility of selectively transparent ledgers, taking the industry to the next level and speeding our collective progress toward mainstream adoption.

🟢 EVM Staking Network Upgrade Now Available! 🟢 The v0.4.3 release is a mandatory upgrade for validators that brings EVM #staking to mainnet. Users will be able to stake #EVM $FRA, not just UTXO FRA. 🙋 What does it mean to #UnlockZk? We believe it means making it easy for Solidity developers to integrate zk-functions into the projects because so much of Web3 revolves around EVM chains. But making a zk system compatible with EVM environments is tricky for a few reasons ⤵️ 1️⃣ Differing Cryptography. Ethereum and EVM chains typically use the secp256k1 elliptic curve, but Zk does not (often using the BLS12-381 elliptic curve). Integrating curves that are not natively compatible can be difficult. 2️⃣ Standardization Challenges. Both zk and EVM systems have developed their own conventions and standards. 3️⃣ A New Ledger Paradigm. EVMs are built on the idea of total transparency, but #zk allows for selective transparency, bringing many new possible use cases for #NFTs, #GameFi, and #DeFi. Complex solutions to these issues often create complexity for Solidity devs looking to integrate zk into their projects. That's the problem Findora aims to solve. Through our dual-layer architecture and zkSDKs, we aim to make it no harder to integrate zk than to call a function. By making it that simple, we bring zk to EVM chains and unlock zk for #Web3.
