Hey folks. I just got an update from engineering.
The workaround they're crafting is being tested on a separate development network where the issue can be recreated. In their testing, the engineers are working to ensure the new update resolves the issue and avoids introducing any new problems. Testing of their new update begins tonight and they anticipate to be finished in 24 to 48 hours.
If testing is successful, we'll announce and introduce the update to mainnet shortly after. Community validators will have a minimum of seven days to install the upgrade and all information relevant to the update will be shared across Discord, Twitter, and Telegram.
My apologies for the delayed update on this matter. All members of the team have been working diligently on a number of tasks across engineering, marketing, events, and ecosystem growth. We'll keep you posted on new information about the block time issue as it's received.
